As always, this past month has been incredibly busy down at the Habitus Townhomes construction site. The first ground floor slabs have been poured, while structure manufacturing has also commenced. Previously located at the project site in South Melbourne, Habitus turns the traditional idea of a residential display suite on itself, utilising the site’s existing warehouse as a stage for the insertion of the scenery within. Level 3 has been a hive of activity, with the rough-in of services now complete and the installation of plasterboard now commenced. Beyond the exteriors, Ironside has been working tirelessly towards completion of all apartments, with the first round of quality assurance checks to the ground floor apartments having recently taken place. Internal works are also well underway, with apartments up to Level 11 now complete and attention promptly focused on delivering the subsequent levels.
